Four things make the price, and one doesn't

The category
It is the most visible factor, not the most important. The gap between a city car and a 4×4 is real, but it is made up in one day of length-of-rental discount on a two-week rental.

The duration
The real lever. The longer the rental, the lower the daily price — and the tiers are clear-cut. On a fifteen-day stay, that is what changes the total, not the model you choose.

The season
December to February and the school holidays stretch the fleet. Booking early doesn't lower the owner's rate, but it gives you access to the cheapest vehicles before they go.

The pick-up and return location
Picking up and returning at the same place costs nothing extra. A one-way rental, if the owner accepts it, may add fees — they show in the basket before payment, never after.
And what doesn't make the price: our commission
The amount shown on each vehicle is the amount you pay. Our share is already in it — no service fee added at the end, no surprise supplement at checkout. The 20% paid online when booking is part of that total, not an extra charge. And that amount starts from the rate the owner set themselves: no middleman steps in to take a cut, so no commission is stacked on another.

The one lever you control
You don't choose the owner's rate. You choose the duration — and that is what decides the daily price. A ten-day stay booked as a single rental costs less than two five-day rentals, same vehicle, same dates.

Resident
The discount adds to the length-of-rental discount
With renters who offer a resident rate, the two add up: the resident rate applies first, then the length-of-rental discount. It is the cheapest combination possible on the site, and it needs no code and no haggling — just a resident account, checked once by phone.
Visitor
The length-of-rental discount still applies
It is not reserved for residents. Over two weeks, it often weighs more than a change of category — it is the first trade-off to make before comparing models.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't you show a price list?
Because it would be wrong. Each vehicle belongs to an owner who sets their price, and that price changes. What we show is the lowest amount actually available at the moment you view the page.
Is the price shown the final price?
Yes. Our share is already included, and nothing is added at checkout. Only the options you tick yourself — child seat, second driver — increase the total, and they do so in front of you, in the basket.
What do I pay when booking?
20% of the order total, online. The balance is paid when the keys are handed over. Nothing is charged in between.
How do I get the best price?
Extend the duration before going down a category. On a two-week stay, going from fourteen one-day rentals to a single fourteen-day rental changes the total more than giving up the vehicle you wanted.
Is fuel included?
No. The vehicle is handed over with a fuel level recorded at departure and must be returned at the same level. It is noted on the condition report, by both sides.
